“First and foremost, we would like to thank you, Alex and Julie for the very warm and friendly welcome you gave us at the start and throughout our 2 week holiday.    The utilities and utensils were of equally high standard and the attention to detail in the little added extras (ie. garden chair covers, disposable bbq and stand, picnic set etc…) were all extremely welcomed.

The surrounding grounds are very picturesque too and maintained to high standard. It was nice to be able to walk so far away from our accommodation and yet still feel the privacy of being within your own land. We especially loved the outlook from our patio and we both miss our mornings outside, taking in the peace and quiet whilst having breakfast” .    G.Royle, Cheshire.

“We had a fabulous stay at Pond View Cottage last week.  The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed.   Its in such a great location and we managed to get out and about to somewhere different every day”.    K Vincent, Bristol

“Blackberry is one of the best cottages that we have stayed in.   Spacious, light & comfortable.  Appreciated large comfortable beds”.  R Redman, Dorset.

“Great setting, so quiet and peaceful.  Clean & Comfortable”.  Mr & Mrs Thomas.

“Had a wonderful time in Wild Thyme Barn.  Will definately be booking next year and will tell family & friends how lovely it is here.  Thanks for a great holiday! “  Mr & Mrs Cox, Bedfordshire

An absolutely amazing place to stay!  Every last detail has been thought of.  We haven’t stopped smiling since we got here”.           N Formosa, Essex.

“Once more you are really very friendly.  It was a pleasure to stay with you.  The contents of the cottage was perfect and the quality of the furniture, espeically the beds, is of very good standard”.   Kempter family, Germany.

“Everything was absolutely beautiful and the cottage decorated/finished to a much better standard than we have experienced elsewhere”.  L & W Clark, Wirral.

Our Alpacas

Posted September 7th, 2011 in Uncategorized by louise

Our Alpaca’s are getting friendlier every day.  In addition to grass, hay and the special dry food we give them, we encourage our guests to hand feed them with chopped vegetables and fruit such as chopped carrots, apples, celery and even pineapple, lettuce, cabbage, parsley and brussel sprouts.

They were recently sheared and have gone from being big, bouncy and fluffy to very skinny and funny looking!  Still cute though…
